The Cottage Art Gallery houses a collection of local artists who have banded together in a charming historic cottage in Nokomis. The goal of our artists is to have a place to show our beautiful artwork and offer it to our visitors for their personal pleasure, for their homes, for their families, and for their friends. Original art becomes heirlooms to be passed down in families for generations to illustrate a piece of history about what our ancestors loved.

Purchasing local art made by the hands of our neighbors enhances and increases the unique character of our beautiful coastal Florida community Sarasota County. It helps to hold at bay the encroachment of the sterilized esthetics that increasingly pervade our community.

Cottage artists and our neighbors have created a beautiful little compound in the center of historic Nokomis with excellent restaurants, antique shops, art studios and classrooms providing classes taught by our artists. We are a unique destination so come spend the day with us and see for yourselves.

The Cottage Gallery is located behind Cafe Evergreen, adjacent to Captain Eddies Seafood Restaurant, and besides Rum Runners Antiques, Bead Camp and ArtSpace.
